Acceptance

By using hellogen.ai you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. The service is provided by the HelloGen team (“we”, “us”).

Eligibility and age

You must be at least 18 years old — or the age of majority where you live — to buy a paid plan or credits, and you may only use HelloGen if you can form a binding contract with us. By purchasing you confirm that you meet this requirement. HelloGen is not directed at children under 13, and paid features are intended for adults.

Payments, billing and promotions

All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and exclude any taxes that may apply where you live. HelloGen is the seller and merchant of record for your purchase; card payments are processed securely on our behalf by our payment provider, Subotiz, and HelloGen never stores your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Promotional offers — such as annual-billing discounts or bonus credits — apply only while displayed and may change or end at any time, without affecting a period you have already paid for. The service

HelloGen provides free AI image generation and editing tools, plus credit-based AI video generation. The service is provided “as is”, without uptime guarantees. Models, features and limits may change as the underlying technology evolves.

Your content & license

You keep all rights you have in your prompts and uploads. To operate the service we need a limited license to process them for generating your results and preventing abuse. Generated images and videos are yours to use, including commercially, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Acceptable use

HelloGen is a strictly non-adult (SFW) service. You may not use it to generate, upload or share adult, NSFW, pornographic or sexually explicit content of any kind, including AI-generated nudity or sexualized imagery. You also may not create sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, content that impersonates real people in a misleading or harmful way, material that infringes intellectual property, or content that is illegal where you live. All prompts and results are screened by automated moderation; we block prompts and may rate-limit, suspend or ban accounts that break these rules. See our Acceptable Use Policy for the full list.

AI-generated content

AI output can be inaccurate, unintentionally similar to existing works, or unsuitable for certain uses. You are responsible for reviewing images before you rely on or publish them.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HelloGen is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of a free service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us — which is zero.

Intellectual property and your responsibility

As between you and HelloGen, images you generate are yours, and you may use them personally and commercially where the law allows. That is all we can grant: we make no warranty that an output is free of third-party rights, and we transfer no rights in anyone else’s intellectual property or likeness. AI output can resemble an existing work, a trademark or a real person without you intending it, and in many countries a purely AI-generated image attracts limited or no copyright protection. You are solely responsible for checking your intended use and for obtaining any licence, release or consent it needs — in particular before any commercial use of content resembling a well-known intellectual property, brand or public figure, which our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits. You agree to indemnify HelloGen against third-party claims, losses and costs arising from content you generate, upload, publish or commercialise. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of HelloGen, are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (for this purpose excluding Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. This does not remove any mandatory protection you have under the consumer-protection law of the country where you live: where that law gives you a right this clause would take away, that law prevails to that extent.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
