Upscale any clip to 4K, in about a minute
Enlarge a video up to 4× with AI super-resolution that rebuilds edges and texture frame by frame. MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 30 seconds — from 2 credits per 15 seconds.
Upscale a video in three steps
Upload your clip
Drop in an MP4, MOV or WebM up to 30 seconds. The length, resolution and price are read from the file before anything is sent.
Pick 2× or 4×
Choose how far to enlarge it. We cap the result at 4K, so a factor that would overshoot is offered at the largest size that fits.
Download the result
The upscaled clip is saved to My Works and ready to download — the same footage, at a resolution you can publish.
When a clip is right but too small
AI-generated video
Most video models render at 480p or 720p. Upscaling the result is far faster than generating the same clip at a larger size.
Social delivery specs
Reels, Shorts and TikTok all prefer 1080p uploads. Bring an older or smaller clip up to spec before you post it.
Product and ad footage
Make a small supplier clip usable on a listing, a landing page or a paid placement.
Old phone footage
Enlarge low-resolution clips from an old camera or a compressed download so they hold up on a big screen.
Frequently asked questions
How much does upscaling a video cost?
2 credits per started 15 seconds at 2×, and double that at 4× — so a clip up to 15 seconds is 2 credits at 2× and 4 at 4×, and a 16–30 second clip is 4 and 8. The price is always for the factor that actually runs: if 4× would overshoot 4K we run 2× and charge 2×. Credits come with a Basic or Pro plan, or as a one-off pack from $4.90. A failed upscale is never charged.
How far can I enlarge a video?
Up to 4×, capped at 4K output. A 480p clip can go all the way to 4×; a 1080p clip is offered 2×, because 4× would land at 8K — a size nothing plays back and a very long hold on the render queue. 4× writes four times the pixels of 2× and is priced at double.
What are the limits?
Up to 30 seconds, up to 1920×1080 in, and up to 200 MB per file. Longer or larger clips are refused before they upload, with the limit you crossed named on screen.
Will upscaling fix a blurry face?
No — upscaling adds resolution, not information. A soft face at 480p becomes a larger soft face. It solves “the file is too small to publish”, not “the shot is not sharp”.
What formats can I upload?
MP4, MOV and WebM. The result is delivered as an MP4 and saved to My Works with everything else you have made.
