Yes. Creating a free account gives you unlimited image generation with no watermark, plus 5 AI edits a day. Without an account, generation is limited to 5 images a day. HelloGen runs on efficient open-weight models from the Qwen community, which keeps hosting affordable. Optional Basic, Pro and Max plans and credit packs buy credits, which is what premium models, 4K upscaling and video spend — and Pro and Max add unlimited AI video. You never have to pay to make images.

There is nothing to install — HelloGen runs in any desktop or mobile browser. A free account makes image generation unlimited and unlocks the AI image editor, which requires sign-in so that we can enforce our content rules. Without an account, generation is limited to 5 images a day.

The interface is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Czech, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Prompts can be written in most major languages.

Yes. Images you create on HelloGen can be used for personal and commercial purposes. You are responsible for your prompts: don’t generate content that infringes trademarks, copyrighted characters or a real person’s likeness without permission.

With a free account, as many as you like — there is no daily quota. At the busiest times, very heavy use is briefly slowed so the queue stays fast for everyone. Without an account, it is 5 images a day.

HelloGen is strictly non-adult (SFW): all adult, NSFW, pornographic or sexually explicit content is prohibited, along with any sexual content involving minors, non-consensual imagery of real people, and content designed to deceive (e.g. fake documents). Prompts are screened and violations are blocked. Full details are in the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

On Pro and Max, clips on MiniMax H3 Unlimited cost no credits and there is no daily cap: 480p, 2 to 15 seconds, with generated stereo sound, from a text prompt, a first frame, a first and last frame, or up to nine reference images. The clip is yours for personal and commercial use, exactly like a paid one, and a failed render is never charged.

Yes — no daily cap and no credits per clip. On top of that, guaranteed clips go straight to the front every day (at least 2 a day on Pro, 5 on Max). Clips beyond those render at standard speed, which can take a little longer at the busiest times. The Studio shows how many priority clips you have left today.

480p is what keeps unlimited clips quick and plentiful. When a clip is worth keeping, the video upscaler takes it to 1080p or 4K in seconds.

Free if you only make images. Basic if you want the premium image models and the flagship video models on credits. Pro if you want video every day — unlimited clips, priority renders and the Omni Agent. Max for studio volume: 10,000 credits a month and a larger daily allowance of priority renders.

The creation assistant in the Studio, included with Pro and Max. You describe the job in plain words and it chooses the skill and model, writes the prompt, asks at most one question, and shows the exact price before it generates. It can plan a multi-shot short drama — character sheets and location plates first, so faces and rooms stay the same across a cut — which is the part that is genuinely hard to do by hand.

Text-to-image runs on Z-Image Turbo, an efficient open text-to-image model known for fast, high-quality output. Editing runs on Qwen Image Edit 2509, an instruction-following image editing model from Alibaba’s Qwen family.

No. Prompts and uploads are processed to generate your result and briefly retained for abuse prevention, then deleted. They are not used for training and never sold.

HelloGen is built on open-weight models shared by the Qwen community — Z-Image Turbo for generation and Qwen Image Edit 2509 for editing. Open models plus efficient infrastructure keep costs low enough to offer the tool free to everyone.

Typically around five seconds per image with Z-Image Turbo, depending on load and image size. Edits with Qwen Image Edit usually take slightly longer.
