Get the depth video
Every frame becomes shades of grey: near is white, far is black. Shapes, movement and the camera move stay; faces, clothes and colours are gone.

Frequently asked questions
What is a depth video?
The same clip with every frame turned into shades of grey by distance: near is white, far is black. It keeps the shapes, the movement and the camera move, and drops everything about how things look.
Why not just use the original clip as the reference?
A video model given the original tends to copy it: the same background, and faces that drift toward the people in it. Given the depth video, it follows the motion and draws the look from your prompt and your character.
How much does it cost?
2 credits per started 15 seconds — 2 credits for a clip up to 15 seconds, 4 for 16–30 seconds. Included with Max. A failed conversion is never charged.
What are the limits?
Up to 30 seconds, up to 1920×1080, MP4, MOV or WebM. Most video models take reference videos of up to 15 seconds, so trim a longer clip if you plan to generate with it.
Does it keep the sound?
Yes, by default the original soundtrack stays with the depth video. Turn off Keep the original sound before converting to get a silent file.
