The short version
HelloGen works without accounts, so we know very little about you. We process your prompts and uploads to create images, use cookies for traffic measurement and advertising (with your consent in the EU/EEA and UK), and we do not sell personal data or use your content to train models.
What we process
Prompts and uploaded images are sent to our inference infrastructure to produce your result. They are retained for up to 30 days solely for abuse prevention and then deleted. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) are kept briefly for security and rate limiting.
Cookies & consent
We use a consent banner in regions where it is required. “Essential only” limits cookies to those needed for the site to function and for non-personalized ads. “Accept all” additionally enables analytics and personalized advertising cookies from our ad partners.
Advertising
HelloGen is funded by advertising served by third-party networks (such as Google AdSense). These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show relevant ads and measure performance, in accordance with your consent choice. Ad placements are always labeled “Advertisement”.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (GDPR in the EU/EEA and UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, delete or object to processing of your personal data. Because we hold almost no identifiable data, most requests are satisfied by our default retention limits — but you can always contact us at hello@hellogen.ai.
Children
HelloGen is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and the “last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
